I can't put it any better than the Furnace from yesterday: this Dean series is 100% pure diversionary tactics. It's all really rather sad but not entirely unexpected. It's how they operate. To hide the staggering elephant from public view they say, "Look over there! It's a donkey! Let's make fun of the donkey! Silly stupid donkey."
Diversions are everywhere these days. It's kind of a long story having something to do with a rain-delayed baseball game on TV, but I happened upon that Bill "Baba" O'Reilly show last night on the Fox News Channel. He was in the middle of gleefully detailing how the 'liberal' media is in trouble: PBS is now run by Republicans, Bill Moyers has retired, circulation is slipping for the L.A. Times and the Boston Globe, etc. etc. He said the message was loud and clear: "If you're anti-American, you're going down."
And just like -- in the span of two seconds -- he equated liberals with being anti-American and then he threatened them. With all that's going on in the world, this is what he's focusing on? Diversion.
But anyway, now I'm getting diverted from my point, which is Scott Stantis is a freak-show monkey boy who throws his own poo.
